Valantince Day
അവിച്ചരിതമയിട്ടയിരുന്നു രാധയുടെ കടന്നുവരവ്. സ്വപ്നത്തിനു ദൈര്ക്യം വളരെ കുറവാണെങ്കിലും, വരും ദിനം ആ നിമിഷം കൊണ്ട് മാത്രം നിറഞ്ഞതായിരിക്കും. മനസു നിര്മലമാകുന്നതും ഹൃദയം ലോലമാകുന്നതും അറിയാന് കഴിയും. സംഗീതം എം. ഡി. രാമാനാഥനില് നിന്നും, ഭിംസന്ജോഷിയില് നിന്നും എം. ബി. ശ്രീനിവാസനും, വയലാറും ചേര്ന്ന പാതയിലേക്ക് തിരിന്ജോഴുകും.
പത്തു വര്ഷത്തിനു ശേഷമുള്ള ഈ ഏകാന്തതകളില് ആ നിമിഷം നിറയും. ടെക്നോളജി ആ ദിവസങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടിയുള്ള തിരച്ചിലിന് സഹായമായി.
ഒരു കുല പൂക്കളുമായി ആ പേര് ഫെസ്ബുക്കില് തെളിഞ്ഞപ്പോള് പഴയ വസന്തം തിരിച്ചെത്തിയ പ്രതീതി. അതില് ലോകം ചെരുതകുന്നതും, ആ നിമിഷമാകാന് മനസ്സ് കൊതിക്കുന്നതും അറിഞ്ഞു.
ഇക്കരെ ഇരുന്നു അക്കരെതോട്ടത്തിലെ വസന്തം നോക്കി കണ്ടു. തള്ളിരിലകള് കാട്ടിലടുന്നതും, കിളികളുടെ സംഗീതവും വ്യക്തമായി കേള്ക്കാന് കൊതിച്ചു. പൂകള്ക്ക് മുകളില് തൊട്ടുരുമി കളിക്കുന്ന സലഭാങ്ങളെയും, ഭ്രമരങ്ങളെയും, വ്യക്തമായി കാണാന് കൊതിച്ചു. അതിന്റെ ആര്ദ്രതയില് രാധ വന്നു. നിമിഷങ്ങളോളം അക്കരെ തോട്ടത്തില് എനിക്കായി ആദിയും, പാടിയും, നിദ്രയെ ലോലമാക്കി. അതിനു സമാപ്തി എന്നപോലെ ഒരു താരാട്ടു പടി അകന്നു. അതില് ചില താരങ്ങളുടെ പേരുകളുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അത് എന്റെ സ്വന്തം തരകങ്ങലയിരുന്നു.

ഫെബ്രുവരി 14. നിമിഷങ്ങള്കൊണ്ട് ദിവസം നിരയുന്നതരിഞ്ഞു ആദ്യമായി ഞാന് Valantince Day യില് പങ്കുചേര്ന്നു.
ഉച്ചിഷ്ട കാവ്യം
ഞാന് നടന്നു പോകുമ്പോള് രാജാവിന്റെ ഉച്ചിഷ്ടം കാക്ക എന്റെ തലയില് കൊണ്ടിട്ടു. മറ്റു കാക്കകള് അത് തലയില് വച്ചു തന്നെ ചിക്കിചികഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോഴും എന്റെ ഏക പ്രാര്ഥന, “സര്വെശ്വര ഇതൊന്നും രാജാവറിയന് ഇട വരല്ലേ”.
രാത്രിതെ ആഹാരം പ്രക്രിയയ്ക്ക് വിട്ടിട്ടു ഞാന് വായ മൂടി കിടന്നു. ഉച്ചിഷ്ടം മയക്കത്തില് സ്വപ്നമായി വന്നു. ഊര്ധ്വ വായുവില് നിന്നുയര്ന്ന ഗന്ധം സ്വപ്നത്തിനു ഒരാവരണമായി സ്വപ്നത്തെ അവിടെ തടഞ്ഞു നിര്ത്തി. പ്രക്രീയ പൂര്ത്തിയായ ആഹാരം പുതിയ വസ്തുവായി രൂപന്ദരപ്പെടുമ്പോള് രാജാവിന്റെ പ്രതിരൂപം തന്നെ അതില് തീര്ത്തു. വായുസഞ്ചാരമില്ലാത്ത സുതാര്യമായ പെട്ടിയില് ശ്രിഷ്ടിയെ അടക്കി രാജാവിനു കാഴ്ച വച്ചു.
രാജാവിന്റെ കറുത്ത കണ്ണാടിയുടെ പുറകിലെ കൃഷ്ണമണിയിലെ തിളക്കം പല്ലുകളില് കണ്ടു. ഞാന് എന്റെ പല്ലുകളിലെ തിളക്കം തിരിച്ചു കൃഷ്ണമണികളിലൂടെ രാജാവിനു തിരിച്ചു നല്കി.
ഉച്ചിഷ്ടം തലയിലിട്ട കാക്കകള്ക്ക് ആഹാരം നിഷേധിക്കാന് രാജാവ് കല്പ്പിച്ചു.
“സര്വെശ്വര രാജാവത് അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.”
ഞങ്ങള് ഒരു മേശപക്കിരുവശവുമിരുന്നു ആഹാരം കഴിച്ചു. ഞങ്ങളുടെ എബ്ബക്കങ്ങളുടെ ശ്രുതിയും താളവും താദാത്മ്യം പ്രാപിച്ചു.
സുതാര്യ പെട്ടകത്തില് രാജാവിന്റെ പ്രതിരൂപം. എന്റെ ശ്രിഷ്ടി. അടുത്ത സ്രിഷ്ടിയിലെക്കുള്ള ആലോചന തുടങ്ങി. കാക്കകള് രാജാവിന്റെ ഉച്ചിഷ്ടം തേടി വീണ്ടും പോയി. .
സര്വെശ്വര ഈ പ്രക്രിയ തുടര്ന്ന് പോകാന് ഇട തരണേ…..

Azhikode’s had been a powerful voice in the intellectual discourse in Kerala. A towering literary figure he never confined himself to scholastic themes alone but kept on boldly expressing his views on each and every aspect of Kerala’s political and social life.

The menu is the most important internal marketing and sales tool a restaurant has to market its food and beverage to customers. It is the only piece of printed advertising that you are virtually 100 percent sure will be read by the guest. Once placed in the guest’s hand, it can directly influence not only what they will order, but ultimately how much they will spend…………………… my thoughts when I designed the Menu card and table Top menu for the world famous chain restaurant Ciro

കാക്കനാടന് ധ്യാനമുടക്കങ്ങളില്നിന്ന് നിത്യസമാധിയിലേക്ക്
